Nib The 18k nib is marked medium, though Japanese mediums are finer than most western mediums.
Condition Excellent + condition. Very slight signs of wear with no dents, dings or personalization. There are some light capping marks on the section. The smooth barrel end and cap top have polishing marks and light scratching, but no dents or dings. The texture on the surface is really lovely. The imprints are clear.
Tsumugi refers to a woven silk fabric, made with short-stapled silk fibers. The uneven fibers and handspun quality result in a "rustic" yarn that yields a fabric with a slightly rough, textured surface, yet retains the soft and drapey characteristics of silk.
