Color Sterling silver cap and barrel with black section and gold inlaid nib. The design of bare winter trees in a grove, barren branches standing, hiding their inner life that will burst out as spring arrives, is painstakingly engraved with artistry and skill on the pen barrel and cap with exquisite Japanese artisanship.
Nib MEDIUM 14k nib. Japanese nibs run narrower than western nibs. There's no size indicated on the nib, but we judge it to be a medium.
Condition Excellent condition. There is light handwear on the pen, typical and consistent for sterling silver. No cracks or chips, just small surface marks, polishing marks, and some oxidation. They're very obvious in the photos, but in the hand the appearance is much more subtle. The patterns are clear and lovely. The imprints are clear.
