Product Name Fermo
Manufacturer and Year Pilot/Namiki, made in Japan -- 2014 (The date code on the nib is 714.)
Length 5-15/16" with nib extended.
Filling System Pilot cartridge or converter. A CON-50 piston converter is installed. It can also take Pilot and Namiki cartridges, with an adapter (not included). The tip extends and retracts via a knob at the end of the pen. You have to take the nib unit out of the pen in order to fill it.
Color Black lacquer over brass with rhodium plated trim. It has a ribbed plastic knob.
Nib Broad black 18k gold nib is labeled B. The pen originally came with a medium nib (as evidenced by the sticker on the barrel and the clip tag), but it has been replaced at some point. (The Fermo takes the same nib unit as the Vanishing Point pens.)
Condition Near mint condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a velvety black, shiny pen with a unique design. The cap and barrel have just a few very light microscratches. The chrome clip has some mini-scratches near the top. The cap band looks excellent. The sticker on the pen indicates a Medium nib but the nib is Broad. The imprints are clear.
