Filling System Pilot cartridge or converter. A squeeze converter is installed. It can also take Pilot and Namiki cartridges but an adapter is required. An adapter and a cartridge are under the pen tray in the box.
Color Black lacquer with gold plated trim. Original clip tag.
Nib BROAD 14k nib is labeled B. Japanese nib widths run narrow and this will be more similar to a modern western fine. (The clip tag says 18k, but the nib is marked 14k.)
Condition Near mint condition, in box, with paperwork and with adapter and cartridge under the pen tray in the box and with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This pen has never been inked. This is a velvety black, shiny pen that is substantially sized and that as beautiful trim and accents. The cap and barrel look great. The gold clip, cap top, cap band, and clicker have light microscratching. The imprints are clear.
