Product Description
Type Capless fountain pen -- the nib retracts like a ballpoint
Product Name Vanishing Point
Manufacturer and Year Pilot (Namiki) Japan -- 2008 (nib's date code a908).
Length 5-1/2" long, or 5-7/16" when the nib is extended.
Filling System Pilot cartridge or converter. A Con-50 piston converter is installed.
Color Slate Gray - a dark non-metallic gray with rhodium trim. This is not a current color.
Nib BROAD 18k gold nib. Note that this nib is not masked, so it's yellow gold and does not match the rest of the pen's furniture. It doesn't affect the pen's functioning, but we know some folks are very particular about matching metals, so we wanted to mention it.
Condition Excellent condition. There is microscratching on the cap and barrel, with some moderate scratching on either side of the clip. No cracks, chips, dings, or dents. The imprints are clear. We think the pen might have been dipped, but it doesn't appear to have been inked.
