Product Description
Type Sterling Japanese pen
Product Name Sterling Silver Collection - Tiger. We think this is the continuation of the Art Craft Silver series from the 1990s.
Manufacturer and Year Pilot, Japan -- 2019
Length 5-7/16"
Filling System Takes Pilot/Namiki-style cartridges and converters. Despite being a premium fountain pen model, this particular pen does not take the more elaborate Pilot CON-70 button converter which is too long to fit in the barrel. A Pilot piston converter is installed.
Color Sterling silver cap and barrel with black section and inlaid nib. The design of the Tiger is painstakingly engraved with artistry and skill on the pen barrel and cap with exquisite Japanese artisanship
Nib MEDIUM 18k nib. It is rhodium plated and writes smoothly. Japanese fine nibs run narrow. The nib is engraved 719.
Condition Mint condition with no cracks, chips, dents, dings, plating wear or brassing. This is a gorgeous, shiny, distinctive pen that is etched with great artistic care. There are light marks on the cap below the clip and, as well, near the end of the barrel. Because the pen is sterling silver any handwear or polishing marks are noticeable as these are. The imprints are clear. No box or paperwork.
