Manufacturer and Year Pilot, Japan -- 1982, this version of the Pilot VP was made between 1981 and 1987. This nib has an H682 indicating 1982.

Filling System Pilot cartridge or converter. A good CON-20 converter is installed. An unused blue Pilot cartridge can be found beneath the pen tray but the pen requires an adapter to use cartridges and one is not included
Color Faceted black with silver colored trim. The black is smooth with a matte appearance.
Nib MEDIUM 14k nib is smooth and somewhat firm with lovely tipping material. Marked M. As a note, the vanishing point nib units have subtly changed over time and not all are interchangeable.
Condition Mint condition. We are calling this pen new. It has no traces of ink anywhere and no usage signs. No handwear. No storage wear. We will ship it in a Namiki box that is not the original, it is newer than the pen.
