Color Firefox - a stunning combination of layered resins in pearly red-orange and black, developed by the company to resemble the gorgeous "arco" celluloids of the past. The trim is palladium plated and the cap has an intricate band that is also part of the cap lip.
Nib Soft Fine 14k nib; Pineider calls this their "Quill" nib. The sides of the nib have cutouts to allow for additional flexibility. The nib is rhodium-plated and the tines spread a bit for line variation.
Condition Excellent + condition. The resin is beautiful and the translucence is strong. There are some scratches on the barrel near the ink viewing holes, where the cap lip hits. No plating wear. No dents, dings, cracks or scratches.
