Manufacturer and Year Platinum, Japan -- probably part of the first series of celluloid pens (which began in 1987) since it lacks the "Slip and Seal" cap feature.

Filling System Platinum cartridge or converter fill. We will include a new converter in the box.
Color "Tortoise" is semi-transparent cellulous with gold colored trim.
Nib Medium 18k nib.
Condition Excellent + condition. The pen is a beautiful, rich tortoise shell color and pattern. There are some light scratches on the cap, barrel, and clip, but these are not visible with the naked eye because of the pen coloration. Some plating wear on the trim. The imprints are clear. There are no chips, dings, or personalization. The pen is housed in its original navy blue Platinum box with white silk interior and with all paperwork, a converter, and an ink cartridge.
