Filling System Platinum cartridge or converter fill. A Platinum converter is installed. Platinum also sells an adapter to allow usage of international cartridges in their pens.
Color Platinum design of red/gold flowers with moon on black. The gold painting or "maki-e" is over urushi lacquer. The trim is gold plated.
Nib Broad 18k nib. The Platinum broad nibs write like Western medium nibs.
Condition Excellent condition, in box, with paperwork, and with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautiful, shiny, black pen with a lovely red flower and moon design painted in gold. The barrel has light to moderate scratching and what appears to be light posting marks. The cap has light microscratching. The cap band has moderate microscratching and a bit of plating wear around the middle of the band. The clip is excellent. The top ridged band above the clip has some plating wear along the edges. The top black jewel has a small scratch on the top. The imprints are clear.
