Product Description
Type Ballpoint pen
Product Name P3130 Mikado. Mikado is the name of a "pick-up sticks" type game in Europe, and the barrel's unusual design certainly resembles those slender sticks.
Manufacturer and Year Porsche Design, circa 2003. Faber Castell and Pelikan made pens for Porsche, first FC then Pelikan, and we think this was a Faber Castell pen, made in Germany -- circa 2000s or 2010s.
Length 5-5/8 inches.
Filling System Takes standard Parker compatible refills. A working refill is installed in the pen.
Color Silver colored. The barrel is unusual - there are lengthwise rods, and as you twist the pen to extend or retract the tip, the rods twist around the inner barrel. Very cool effect!
Condition Excellent + condition, just some microscratching and signs of light usage. This is a large, heavy, beautiful modern pen. The imprints are clear.
