Type Ebonite pen with unique filling system
Product Name We're calling this the Felton2 for the time being, as it's a mid-size version of the first Felton ink tank pen.
Manufacturer and Year Our manufacturers in India made the ebonite and acrylic components. Fitted with a modern Sheaffer nib which we customized. We put everything together here in California.
Length 5-1/16" in length. The thickness at the threads is .392 inches (9.95mm).
Filling System We call this filling system the "ink tank." You fill the clear acrylic tube with ink via an eye dropper (included), and screw it on to the section.
While the filing system is more or less a simple eyedropper, the insulating properies of having acrylic, air and ebonite between your hand and the ink chamber reduces the burping usually associated with eyedroppers.
We include a spare ink tube with a screw-on cap. In addition to the eyedropper, we'll give you a small quantity of silicone grease which should be applied to the tank threads every other time you fill it.
Color Dark blue ebonite with black end pieces. Gold colored trim.
Nib We ground a Sheaffer Prelude medium nib into a crisp cursive italic, The result falls between a medium and a fine, with good line variation. Please see writing sample below.
