Product Description
Type Three-piece pen and mechanical pencil set. There is a ballpoint, a fineline marker (which also takes rollerball refills), and a mechanical pencil.
Product Name Unknown
Manufacturer and Year Quill Pen Company, USA -- likely 1990s. (There is a USA stamp on the top of the clip.)
Length The fineliner/marker is 5-7/16" long. The ballpoint and mechanical pencil are both 5-3/16" long.
Filling System The pencil takes 0.9mm leads. The ballpoint pen takes Cross-type refills. The third pen takes standard international rollerball refills, and we've installed a new Schmidt 888 refill. They are just a hair longer than the original refill, but they do fit comfortably. The box has a dried-up fineliner marker refill, as well as a rollerball refill.
Color Goldplated surface (the box calls it "Duragold"), with a pattern of grouped lines. The cap jewels are black. The clips are shaped like a feather.
Condition Near mint condition. There is light handwear and microscratching on the caps and barrel. No dents, dings, or large individual scratches. The rollerball pen has some scratches on the section from capping,, but otherwise looks fantastic. We don't see any other brassing or plating wear on the other two pieces.
