Product Description
Type Aerometric fill fountain pen
Product Name Ranga's slender "Cruiser" is the body style
Manufacturer and Year We put it together here at Peyton Street Pens. Ranga of India created the ebonite components, the filling system comes from a modern Hero, the feed is new old stock Eversharp, and the nib was made by Sheaffer for the Agio pens. Quite a mash-up, we know. In our defense, this isn't a production model, it's a bit of an experiment.
Length 5-3/16"
Filling System Aerometric (squeeze) filling system. (Please note that squeezing the aerometric filler a few times will get the pen about half full, meaning the section and lower part of the sac will be filled. This will provide quite a bit of ink, more than a conventional cartridge. In order to fill the pen more completely, you have to squeeze the filler a few times while it is in the ink, then carefully wipe it down, point the nib at the ceiling, and give the pen a little shake or flick with your fingernail to get the ink to move into the top of the sack. Then you can put the nib back into the ink and squeeze the filler again, and this will add some more ink.)
Color smooth green ripple ebonite
Nib FINE gold plated steel nib, made by Sheaffer. Made for the Agio, we think.
Condition Brand new, only inked to the degree that we needed to test it to make sure the ink flow was good and the nib was smooth.
