Color Olive ripple ebonite that was smoothed and polished for a glossy finish. Gold colored trim including a wide cap band.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a large, shiny pen with a beautiful color and pattern and with some weight. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and both the cap and barrel have what appear to be polishing marks, although the light scratches could be part of the texture of the surface. You cannot see these with the naked eye and the pen looks great. The barrel and cap are near mint, but the trim has some imperfections which we suspect occurred due to the proximity to the sulfur in the ebonite. The wide cap band has some light microscratching and a few micro-dots of plating wear. The clip and clip band have scattered pitting, moderate microscratching, and dots of plating wear. The imprint on the cap band is clear.
