Product Description
Type Fountain Pen
Product Name Reform Demonstrator, we couldn't find a specific model name but it is not the Skywalker.
Manufacturer and Year Reform, Germany -- unknown. There's not much documentation available on this brand. The nib is labeled "Iridium Point Germany", and the cap band just says "Germany" so we know it's after 1992.
Length 5-1/8".
Filling System Standard Cartridge/converter. A converter is installed.
Color Clear green plastic cap, section, and barrel, with gold plated trim.
Nib MEDIUM gold plated nib, labeled with an M.
Condition Excellent condition. This is a crisp, clear, demonstrator pen that looks nice with its gold trim. The cap and barrel have light microscratching. The cap band has very light scratching, and the plating there is kind of thin and uneven. The clip also has light scratching. All of the trim plating is intact, and there's no brassing or plating wear. The imprints are clear.
Note: There are some tiny stress cracks at the front of the section, easily visible in the photos, where the nib fits in. We do not believe that these fully penetrate the plastic, and they seem to be aligned near the edges of the nib. We suspect that they were formed when the nib was originally inserted into the section, or perhaps they're the result of someone writing with too much pressure. Again, they don't fully penetrate the plastic, and should remain stable with proper fountain pen care. Don't press the pen too hard against the paper, and refrain from pulling out the nib and feed.
