Product Description
Type Combination lever fill fountain pen and mechanical pencil.
Product Name Unknown
Manufacturer and Year The clip is marked "Reliable" -- circa 1930s or early '40s judging by the style and material.
Length 5-7/8"
Filling System The fountain pen side is a lever filler which we have restored with a new sac. The pencil end takes 1.1mm (or "thick") leads which it extends by twisting the cone.
Color Black celluloid body with gold plated trim, with three thin cap bands.
Nib FINE gold plated steel "Durium" nib is firm and fairly smooth. The plating is slightly worn.
Condition Very nice condition. There's some lesser scratching and small marks of wear on the cap and body. Most of the plating is worn (see photos). The clip is a bit bent away from the cap so it doesn't clip firmly. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, or personalization. It's fully restored and working well.
