Color Pearlized celadon green, black, and red acrylic - the same material used in the Sheaffer Balance LE. Gold plated trim.
Nib 21k Naginata Cross Emperor, marked NAG. Very hard to find, if not impossible. Sailor's description of this nib says: "double layered nib with unique cross point design on the tipping provides a very juicy broad horizontal stroke and a fine tip in the upside-down position. The addition of the solid gold Emperor tab over the top of the nib provides additional ink reservoir for constant smooth writing and ink flow."
Condition Excellent condition, in collector's box, with lots of paperwork. Beautiful, almost like new. There are a few flaws in the pen. There are two hairline cracks, fairly typical for this Sheaffer (?) material, originating at the top of the clip where it attaches to the cap (see final two photos below). They curve down and flare out. There are also some light scratches on the cap, and we are hesitant to smooth them out due to the delicate nature of the material. The variations in the material keep them from being obvious at a distance, but under close inspection they are visible. See photos below for details.
Pen ships in original packaging - a handmade brown leather covered storage box with outer cardboard sleeve, a numbered certificate (the number is also engraved on the pen), warranty certificate, and an informational booklet.
