Color Gold filled filigree overlay on black hard rubber.
Nib FLEXIBLE MEDIUM 14k nib with good tipping material. You'll get line variation from medium-fine to broad. The tip has a slightly flat character, giving a bit of an "oblique stub" feel and fine cross-strokes. See the writing sample in the photos.
Condition Excellent condition. There are light scratches and denting on the surface of the gold filled overlay. The high-contact areas - top and bottom of cap, end of barrel - have some light brassing. The cap lip has some very shallow dents, though it's wider than the diameter of the barrel so it doesn't really scratch when capping or posting. The end finial of hard rubber is faded to a deep brown. The hard rubber is in good shape, with mostly light scratching. There is a crack in the hard rubber under the overlay on the cap, just above the clip (visible in the first photo). We don't believe that this is any danger to the cap because it's under the cap lining, and also surrounded by the gold overlay, so it should be stable. The clip has scratching and brassing around the ball end. The section looks good, no chips or tool marks. The lever bar looks quite good. The imprints are clear.
