Condition Excellent condition. Fountain pen: There is light to moderate scratching on the cap and barrel. All of the hardware - clip, cap band, and lever - is rough, with nearly all of the plating gone. The section has some fading and a weird yellow blotch on one side. Mechanical pencil: Light to moderate scratching on the cap and barrel. The clip has some plating wear, but it's in much better condition than the pen's clip. The middle band has plating wear about halfway around. The cone has heavy scratches and some denting. Pocketknife: The blue surfaces have light to moderate scratching. The blade is in okay condition, though its not especially sharp. The file piece has some rusty spots. The metal housing also has some spots of rust. The set is contained in a paperboard box with a velvet covered platform inside. The outer surface is pretty worn, and the cover has several rips and tears. The surface pattern is still visible, and attractive.
