Condition Excellent + condition for this delightful, diminutive pair in Sheaffer's box. No cracks, chips, dents, or dings. The fountain pen: The nib sheath has a dent in the gold back area, it looks like the casing might have been welded (they frequently crack at this location). Some discoloration on the nib, also probably another effect of the welding. The cap and barrel have microscratching. with slightly more scratching toward the end of the barrel. The clip and trim are lovely. The mechanical pencil: The pencil has light scratching with lovely gold clip, trim, and nose cone. The Sheaffer's box is in good condition showing signs of age on the inside. Someone at some time wrote the initials A.N. + T.H above the Sheaffers brand name. The imprints are clear.
