Filling System Vac filler. This sacless filling system uses a long syringe-like plunger rod tightly fitted into the cylindrical ink chamber that on the downstroke creates a vacuum inside the ink chamber that draws ink into the pen through the feed. Sheaffer adapted this filling system to the Balance line in 1935. Restored with new seals here at PSP and guaranteed for a year from purchase.
Color The pen is a striated "rose glow" with gold plated trim.
Nib FINE Feather Touch #5 nib.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautifully colored, shiny pen in a classic design. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and moderate wear toward the end. The cap has mainly light wear. The cap band has plating wear and dots of pitting. The clip has plating wear along the top and bottom edges. The imprints are clear.
