Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA – this flat ball humped clip was introduced in 1934. It was only used in White Dot pens for a year, but persisted into the 1940s in non White Dot models.

Color Golden Brown Striated with gold plated trim, a thin single cap band, and the flat ball humped clip. Amber viewing window under the section.
Nib FINE gold Sheaffer's #3 nib.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a sleek and slim, shiny pen. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and mainly light scratching, with quite a lot of shallow bite marks near the end. The lever bar has scratching on the face, with brassing around the open end. The cap has moderate wear with shallow bite marks around the top. The cap band has microscratching, and brassing along the edges. The clip has scratching on the face and brassing around the ball end. The imprints are clear.
