Product Name Balance 350, this is the long slender version.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA -- 1936-42 (those were the years these pens were made in this color and with this type of clip).
Length 5-7/16 inches.
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Grey striated celluloid. Chrome plated trim.
Nib EXTRA FINE gold Sheaffer's #3 nib is fairly smooth with a nice little bit of tipping material. It has a little give to it, but no real flex.
Condition Very nice condition. No cracks or chips, dings, dents, or personalization. The clip and cap band show some brassing and wear, though the lever is mostly free of it. There are some small marks and scratches on the cap and barrel, but generally the pen looks quite good. The imprint is clear and easily readable. We've fully restored the pen and it's working very well.
