Product Name Balance 1000. We're used to seeing the 1000 number on the barrel of oversized pens, but this is not an oversized pen, it's a full size pen just a little on the fat side.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA -- 1940s.
Length 5-1/8" inches.
Filling System Lever-filling. We've fully restored and tested it, it's working very well.
Color Brown striated body with matching cap. Gold plated trim.
Nib FINE Sheaffer's Lifetime two-tone 14k gold Triumph nib is smooth and firm with nice tipping material.
Condition Excellent + condition with some minor scratches here and there on the cap and barrel. There are some light bite marks near the end of the barrel. The cap band has light to moderate scratching. The clip has light scratching, with some plating wear along the sides. The lever bar has plating wear along the edges. There are no cracks or chips, dings or dents, or personalization. The imprint is clear. The pen has been fully restored and it's working well.
