Color Carmine striated with gold plated trim.
Nib FINE two tone, gold Lifetime nib. It's firm and smooth. in nice condition, with an appropriate amount of tipping. It's quite firm. Serial no. I00265. Note that there is a crack in the nib, about 1/8" long, extending from the breather hole. It is clearly visible in the close-up picture of the front of the nib. You'll want to be careful not to try to flex this nib, and apply only normal pressure while writing.
Condition Very nice condition. The color is uniform and shiny on this sleek pen. The barrel has faint horizontal capping lines and moderate scratching. There are bite marks on the back half of the barrel. The cap has light scratching and some bite marks. The clip has plating wear on the edges, and plating wear along the sides. The cap band has brassing on the lower edge. The lever has a touch of plating wear on the open end, but otherwise looks quite nice. No cracks, chips, dings, or dents. The ink viewing window is clear, as are the imprints.
