Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, USA, 1929. This is the very first Sheaffer Balance model, with the long (attached) tapered tail. Subsequent models shortened the taper, and other models had a detachable tail.

Nib Extra fine nib. 14k two-tone Lifetime nib has great tipping material and is very symmetrical. There is some discoloration on part of of the left tine (see photo), but that should not affect performance.
Condition Excellent condition. There is a little brassing on the clip ball and the lever, but the cap band looks good. There is discoloration on parts of the cap and barrel (see photos). There is a very small shallow chip near the top of the clip. No cracks. Nice crisp imprint. Fully restored and ready to write.
