Product Description
Type Vintage fountain pen, working condition
Product Name This is in the Lifetime Balance family, and it is one size down from the fat oversize Balance pens.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer early 1930s (it has the short humped clip introduced in 1931-2)
Length 5-7/16"
Filling System Lever filler - working perfectly
Color Black and green marble celluloid. Gold plated trim. The color looks quite good and even.
Nib Fine Lifetime nib writes smoothly.
Condition User grade with a small crack stemming from where the clip attaches to the cap (see photos), but it still feels solidly connected. Otherwise scratches and hand wear. The trim has brassing on the clip ball. There are a couple of tiny cracks in the cap lip, none of which is even 1/16" in length. The cap screws on properly. There's also a strong imprint. Despite its wear, this pen is still in good working condition, and the color remains quite attractive.
