Product Name Balance Lifetime (this is an oversized model and very fat).
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA -- 1935-42 (those were the years they made the Balance in this color and with this clip).

Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working perfectly. We guarantee the filling system for a year from the date of purchase.
Color Jet Black with gold plated trim, a 1/8" wide cap band, and a radius style clip.
Nib FINE gold Lifetime nib. It's smooth and firm. Near mint in terms of the tipping material. It has serial number 4591782.
Condition Excellent overall condition. The cap and barrel have light to moderate scratching. There's a tiny nick in the end of the barrel. The section has some tool marks where it joins the barrel. The lever has plating wear around the edges. The cap band has quite a lot of brassing. The clip has plating wear around all of the edges, including the open end. The top of the the cap has some crazing (surface crackling). The white dot looks great. The imprints are clear.
