Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working perfectly. Guaranteed for one year from date of purchase.
Color Black and pearl with gold plated trim. The cap band is 1/8" wide. White dot above the clip.
Nib FINE gold nib. It says Sheaffer Lifetime on it, is single tone, and stamped with serial number 5494084.
Condition Excellent condition for this large vintage pen that is shiny and nicely patterned in the black and pearl. The barrel pearl color has darkened to a dark caramel for the most part. The cap pearl color is true to form, a light, ivory, color with pearlescence. The barrel has deep marks caused by the cap lip with moderate to heavy scratching throughout. There are two cracks just under the threads on the barrel, but the cracks do not reach the barrel threads and we were able to successfully re-sac the pen without a problem. The lever has brassing and long thin scratches. The right hand corner of the bottom edge of the lever has pitting. The cap lip can be fragile and has one the beginning of one hairline crack. The cap has moderate to heavy scratching. The cap band has plating wear along the edges and moderate microscratching. The clip has plating wear along the bottom edge of the flat ball end and light microscratching. The white dot looks good. The imprints are crisp and clear.
