Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working perfectly.
Color Black and pearl with gold plated trim. Better than average color, very uniform. The color originally had a black and pearl color scheme, but it is quite common for the white pearl portion to amber and loose its pearly character. In this case, only a few spots have ambered to the extent that they've lost their pearliness. Most of the spots are a bit darker than they were originally, but you can still see the depth of the original color.
The double cap band is very uncommon. White dot above the clip.
Nib Fine gold nib. It says Sheaffer Lifetime on it, single tone. Some tool marks on the nib toward the tip.
Condition Excellent + condition. This is a large-sized pen in a classic design and color scheme. The "pearls" have only slightly mellowed and are very close to the original color, except for the area on the barrel covered by the cap when the pen is capped. The barrel and cap have light wear. The trim has light plating wear, with a bit of brassing on the ball of the clip. The white dot is a creamy color. The imprints are clear.
