Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA -- this pen has the short humped flattened ball clip which dates it to the mid-1930s.

Filling System Vac-Fil, restored here at PSP with new seals.
Color Dark shiny ebony with mother-of-pearl chips and with gold plated trim. The pen has "F.A.A." etched on the barrel.
Nib Medium-Broad 14k Lifetime nib.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a velvety black, shiny and chubby pen with beautiful chunks of floating mother-of-pearl (the colors on the cap are better than on the barrel). The The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and light to moderate scratching. The barrel has "F.A.A." imprinted on it. The cap has moderate scratching with some tiny bite marks near the top. The cap band has plating wear and some small surface marks. The clip has plating wear along the edges of the flat ball at the end and along the top. The white dot looks good. The imprints are very clear.
