Filling System The fountain pen takes Sheaffer converters. This early version of the Connaisseur will only accept the squeeze converter. A squeeze converter is installed. Ballpoint takes a Sheaffer "K" refill. A working refill is installed.
Color Navy blue with gold plated trim. White dots above the clips. The fountain pen has a black section.

Condition Near mint condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is an oversized, beautiful, shiny, dark blue pen set that is quite handsome. Both pens look fantastic with an occasional micro-scratch. The fountain pen barrel trim band (near the end of the barrel) has some plating wear along the top edge. Both pens have some very light microscratching on the gold trim pieces, including cap bands and clips. The white dots are perfect. The imprints on both pieces are clear.
