Product Name Crest 1500 fountain pen, this is the fat version, white dot located on end of barrel.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA. Between 1947 and 1948 .... earlier Crests had a more pointed cap top.
Length 5-1/4".
Filling System Lever Filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well. Guaranteed for one year from date of purchase.
Color Black plastic barrel with gold plated trim and a 1/10th 14k gold filled cap in a pattern of stepped lines.
Nib FINE two-tone Triumph nib.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks or chips. This is the fat version of a vintage pen with a velvety black barrel and a shiny stepped lined gold filled cap. The barrel has light to moderate scratching and microscratching. It looks nice and shiny and is a good dark color. The cap has moderate microscratching and a small dent to the left of the clip. The clip has light microscratching. The white dot at the end of the barrel is slightly yellowed. The imprints are clear.
