Product Description
Type | Vintage fountain pen in superior working condition |
Product Name | Sheaffer 3-25 (there is an impression at the top of the cap that reads 3-25 and it's also on the nib .... that means the pen was priced at $3.25 when it was new.) |
Manufacturer and Year | Sheaffer USA -- late 1920s (high mounted clip) |
Length | 5-5/16" |
Filling System | Lever filler - working perfectly with a good sac, just replaced here at Peyton Street Pens. |
Color | Orange radite (the same color as red hard rubber, but it's plastic). Gold plated trim. |
Nib | 3-25 gold fine nib is in outstanding condition with a lot of tipping material. Very little flex. |
Condition |
Lovely condition with no scratches, and very little hand wear. There is a crack in the cap lip, but it does not prevent the cap from securing properly. Excellent imprints. The trim has some small dots of brassing on the clip ball, but that is all. |
