Type Vintage fountain pen
Product Name 3A - a "Flat Top" model. The end of the barrel is marked with 3A.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, USA -- 1910s-20s. The nib, feed, and imprint all point to the pen being made between 1912-1920, and the clip is a slightly later design - they started using this one in 1922 and continued until the 1930s.

Filling System Lever filler - working perfectly with a good sac, just replaced here at Peyton Street Pens. We gaurantee the filling system for a year from the date of purchase.
Color Black hard rubber. Silver colored trim.
Nib FINE Sheaffer's #3 Self-Filling gold nib is in excellent condition. There is good flexibility to it, and we've included a writing sample in the photos. Line variation from fine to broad.
Condition Excellent condition. There is microscratching and handwear on the cap and barrel. The color is excellent with just some very light fading - it's very dark and even. The lever has brassing, and some tiny dots of pitting. The clip has light scratching, as well as some plating wear on the ball end. The imprints are slightly worn, but still easily readable and clear.
