Product Name Sheaffer 550 -- a white dot pen from the Imperial line.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA -- circa 1970s.
Length 5-1/4".
Filling System It takes the fat "classic" Sheaffer style rollerball refills. A working refill is installed.
Color Black plastic barrel and cap with gold plated trim and a 3/8" wide cap band. White dot on top of clip.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a velvety black, shiny pen in a classic Sheaffer white dot design. The cap and barrel have light to moderate scratching with a few long, thin marks. The section has a few long scratch marks. The wide cap band has light microscratching. The short clip has moderate microscratching especially on the left upper edge. The white dot has two very small scratch marks; its color is good. The imprints are clear.
