Type Cartridge/converter filling fountain pen, working very well.
Product Name "Lifetime" version which later became the Imperial IV. In 1963, to celebrate their 50th anniversary, Sheaffer renamed some of the white dot Imperial models "Lifetime" which is marked on the nib, clip, cap, and barrel.

Filling System Takes Sheaffer-style cartridges and converters. One of the very hard-to-find button converters is installed (no other Sheaffer converters will fit).
Color Deep gray plastic cap and barrel with gold plated trim and a 3/8" wide cap band.
Nib FINE 14k inlaid nib. This is the long diamond version of the gold nib.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. The cap and barrel have light to moderate scratching. The section has some marks where the cap band hits. The end of the barrel has some moderate scratching. The wide cap band has light scratching and polishing marks. The clip has a few tiny scratches and polishing marks. No brassing or plating wear on the clip or cap band. The white dot is clean and looks great. The "Lifetime" imprints are clear.
