Filling System Cartridge or converter filled, with the hard-to-find Intrigue converter installed. The Intrigue has an interesting piston converter system that is operated by pulling out and then turning the knob on the end of the barrel. It also takes Sheaffer style cartridges. For more information on the filling system and how to use it see this page. These converters are very hard to find but luckily there is one installed in this pen.
Color Satin Chrome and Seal Stencil. Blue and light grey dappling over a silver steel finish.
Nib Medium 14k Nib. It's marked 14k on the nib with an M on the section. The palladium coating has mostly worn off the underside of the nib, but the top surface looks great. There's lots of tipping material for smooth writing.
Condition Excellent + condition. There's a few marks on the seal design that are well hidden by the patterning. The brushed metal finish is very intact. The white dot has some small marks on it but looks good. This is a great pen and has the hard to find converter.
