Filling System The mechanical pencil takes 0.7mm leads and uses a propelling system. You turn the cap clockwise to extend the tip and then ratchet the cap to extend the lead. You can add leads from the top by just removing the threaded cap piece. Beneath the piece is an eraser that can be removed to access the lead reservoir, but the hole is small and they have to be loaded one at a time.

Condition New old stock and in near mint condition. A few light marks picked up in storage, but no scrapes or cracks.
