Condition Excellent condition, in box. This is a beautifully colored, elegant set, that is in a classic design pattern. The fountain pen has light to moderate scratches on the barrel with no long or deep marks. The white dot at the end of the barrel looks good -- there are a few scratches surrounding it. The cap has moderate small scratches all over with a couple small dots of pitting and plating wear and brassing at the top. The clip has plating wear along the edge of the end piece. The mechanical pencil has light to moderate scratching on the barrel. The mechanism is stiff, but the lead will advance and retract if you remove the cap. The cap has light scratching, plating wear and dents at the very top and the clip has plating wear along the very top and along the edge of the end piece. The cone has a few small, deep scratch marks. The imprint on the fountain pen is a bit faded but it is readable. The imprint on the mechanical pencil is clear.
