Product Name Sheaffer "Flat Top" (The body, nib and cap indicate the pen was a Lifetime model).
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer USA - 1920s, with a high clip. The pen has a "straight" clip, and the pencil has the humped clip that appeared after 1925.

Filling System Lever filler - working perfectly with a new sac. Guaranteed for one year from the date of purchase. The mechanical pencil takes 1.1mm (thick) refills. A packet of refills will be included.

Condition Excellent + condition for this extra-large pen and pencil set with a decidedly vintage appearance. The coloration of the "pearls" on both pieces has ambered slightly, with the coloration on the pencil better than that of the pen. Both pieces have shiny surfaces that look nice. The fountain pen barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and from posting. It has light wear only, with a few distinct small marks. The lever has moderate scratching. The cap has moderate wear, but no cracks. The cap band has moderate microscratching. The clip had some tarnish on the top left side when we took the photos, but it was just tarnish and it polished off. The white dot on the flat top of the cap slightly yellowed but not scratched. The mechanical pencil has moderate scratching all over with some marks alongside the clip. There are a few of the pearl pieces that appear to have cracks under the surface. The clip looks good with just a thin line of plating wear along the top edge. The gold twist mechanism has light to moderate microscratching. The cone has a few little scratch marks near the body and light microscratching. The imprints on both pieces are clear.
