Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Black with 14k gold cap band and clip (both are hallmarked). The cap band is 1/2" wide. The cap band is personalized, "M. M. Parrish".
Nib FINE gold Lifetime nib is large and smooth.
Condition Very nice condition for this oversized, velvety black, shiny pen. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and light scratching. The lever has plating wear along the sides and some brassing on the pivot end. The are some tiny surface dot marks to the left of the lever (they resemble bite marks, but they're really tiny and in a single line). The cap lip has 4 cracks - one is 1/16" long, and the other three are about 1/4" long, stopping just under the cap band. The cap band being especially wide should stabilize these cracks and prevent them from going further, though you will certainly want to take care with the cap to prevent chips. The cap has light scratching. The clip and cap band have light scratching and polishing marks, but no dents or dings. The top of the cap has some denting. The white dot is slightly yellowed and has cracks in the surface. The imprint is slightly worn but still clear and easily readable.
