Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA – circa 1945-49 (in '49 they figured out how to put the white dot on metal caps, but on this one the dot is on the end of the cap).
Length Just under 4-1/2".
Filling System Vac-fil piston filling system. We've restored the filling system and it's working very well, we will guarantee it for a year from date of purchase.
Color Carmine barrel (burgundy and black striated) with the "Sentinel" style cap, brushed steel with gold filled or gold plated trim and a 3/16" cap band. Very short mini-clip.
Nib FINE Sheaffer's Lifetime 14k two tone Triumph nib.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a lovely, small, beautifully colored pen. The barrel has light to moderate scratching, with the most scratching toward the end. The cap is really very lovely, shiny, with no marks of any kind. The cap band and clip are also excellent. The imprints are clear.
