Filling System Sheaffer cartridge or push-button converter ONLY. No other Sheaffer converters will fit this pen, and the push-button converters are rare. A push-button converter is installed, and we will include one extra button converter as a spare.
Color 14k gold filigree overlay over black plastic. The clip is also 14k gold. The number 1099 is stamped near the section, and is the serial number of the pen.
Nib FINE 14k Sheaffer nib. It's not labeled, but we judge it to be a fine.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautifully shiny, ornate pen that hearkens back to a past time of fountain pen design. The black areas are dark and shiny. There are polishing marks and some tiny scratches in the peek through areas. There barrel has some mark caused by the cap lip. The cap filigree has some microscratching but is really excellent overall. The clip has some tiny scratches near the white dot, but otherwise looks excellent. The white dot has some surface scratching and a yellowed dot in the center. The imprints are clear.
