This pen is fitted with a Sheaffer medium nib. This nib is 14k gold.The nib is in good condition and very smooth, though the nib was cut crookedly by Sheaffer and so one tine is a little wider than the other. |

Wow, someone REALLY enjoyed this pen! It is very worn and scartched on the filigree, so you see the sterling coming thru the gold plating. There are a few cracks in the underlying plastic of the cap, which you can also see in our photos. There are no cracks in the barrel or section, so the pen screws together tightly. There's a lot of wear on the end of the barrel from cap posting. |
