Filling System The PFM I uses a snorkel filling system. The snorkel works in combination with the Touchdown filling system. Unscrew the knob to extend the snorkel, pull out the piston, immerse the tip of the snorkel in ink, and push the piston down. Wait 10 seconds to allow the bladder to expand and pull the ink in. Then turn the knob to retract the snorkel. No need to wipe ink off of anything. The filling system works well with excellent suction. Restored with a new sac, o-ring and point gasket.
Color Blue with chrome trim.
Nib Medium PdAg (Palladium Silver) nib. There are some scratches on the top surface of the nib near the breather hole, which do not affect the pen's writing performance.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a substantial, handsome, shiny pen in a nice color. The cap and barrel have light to some moderate scratching. There is a spot of moderate scratching on the cap in the middle of the imprint. The cap band has light overall scratching. The clip has moderate scratching. The imprints are clear.
