Type Snorkel fountain pen with matching mechanical pencil. The fountain pen is from the first year of production, identified by its gold snorkel tube.

Length The fountain pen is 5-9/16", and the pencil is 5" long.
Filling System Snorkel filler - restored and working perfectly. It has the gold tube that Sheaffer used in the first year. We'll send instructions on how to use the snorkel filling system. The pencil takes 0.9mm leads.
Color Burgundy body and cap with gold plated trim. The fountain pen has a black section with a ribbed texture. both pieces have 1/4" cap band.
Nib Medium 14k two-tone nib.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. Fountain pen: The barrel has mostly light scratching, and there are a few moderate marks near the imprint. There is a thing ring of scratching around the end of the barrel consistent with posting the cap. The cap threads look very clean, with no brassing or plating wear. The cap looks quite good, with just a few surface marks - there's one area just below and to the right of the open end of the clip, and then a few more on the top of the cap. The cap band and clip both have microscratching and polishing marks. Mechanical pencil: The pencil looks great, with just light scratching and usage marks. The clip and cap band have polishing marks and microscratching. The nose cone has brassing on the gold-plated area. The imprints on both pieces are clear.
