Filling System The fountain pen is a snorkel filler, which is working very well after we restored it with a new sac, O-ring, and point gasket. Guaranteed for one year from date of purchase. The pencil takes 0.9mm leads which it extends via the traditional twist mechanism. It's working well and has an supple blue eraser beneath the cap.
Color Black bodies with the Sentinel caps. They have stainless steel caps with gold plated trim. The steel has a lined pattern.
Nib FINE 14k gold Sheaffer's Triumph style nib is smooth and firm with nice tipping material. The nib has a slight "Waverly" upturn.
Condition Excellent + condition, in box, with paperwork and with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a classic, shiny, elegant pen and pencil set in lovely condition. The fountain pen barrel has moderate scratching. The cap, clip, and cap band have light microscratching. The white dot has one small scratch but has good color and looks nice. The mechanical pencil looks excellent with just some light scratching and microscratching. The imprints on both pieces are clear.
