Length The fountain pen measures 5-1/4", and the mechanical pencil is right at 5" long.
Filling System Touchdown filling system, restored with a new sac and O-ring. We will send instructions on how to use the filling system. the pencil takes 0.9mm leads, which extend and retract by twisting the top half. The mechanism is very smooth and working perfectly.
Color Burgundy lack body, stainless steel cap with a lined pattern and gold plated trim. Amber viewing window on the fountain pen.
Nib FINE two-toned 14k conical nib, with a bit of an upturn towards the tip. The nib size sticker is still attached to the section.
Condition New Old Stock condition, in original box. Both pieces have deep burgundy colored, shiny barrels caps with a nice overall vintage look. Fountain pen: the end of the barrel has some small marks from posting the cap, but the pen has never been inked so this is likely from just demonstrating how the pen looks in hand. The cap has polishing marks, but there is no brassing or plating wear. The white dot looks perfect. Mechanical pencil: There is light storage wear and faint microscratching on the surface of the cap and barrel. The White Dot has a tiny mark on one side. The imprints are clear on both pieces. Ships in satin-lined Sheaffer's box. There are two small burn marks on the top surface, and storage wear.
